Schnitzelhof Bad Rappenau in Bad Rappenau

Since we want to support the local restaurants, we order a meal every now and then on Sundays. So that the restaurants can plan, I like to call a day earlier. Unfortunately, I can't do that at the Schnitzelhof. That's not a problem, so I'll call on Sunday morning and want to place my order. The order is reserved based on the last three digits of the car number, no idea what that is about. I was surprised but accepted. Now comes the point that annoys me a lot and why I only give 1 star. I wanted 1 dish without onions. According to the information, this is not possible, so I ask myself the question: is the food freshly prepared.

The food is GREAT, the portions are HUGE. The service is very friendly. Can only recommend the Schnitzelhof in Bad Rappenau. Unfortunately no photos were taken, will be made up for next time. Simply great.

Reservation made by phone. Very friendly & worked out great. The welcome in the restaurant was friendly. We were allowed to sit inside or outside. Since we were there with a toddler and wasps were active outside, we decided to go inside. Unfortunately the floor under our corner seat was extremely dirty. Too bad. The dirt looked like it was from several days. Drinks were picked up quickly and brought quickly. The in-house iced tea was delicious and served in a special glass. Super. Food was taken in quickly and came very quickly. Extra requests for our child were not a problem. Schnitzel and Maultaschen were delicious. The toppings were good too. Unfortunately, the spaetzle weren't homemade. Since we were completely full, we couldn't try any dessert. Conclusion: If the cleaning of the floors is better and things like spaetzle are still made by yourself, then you will also get full marks. So I had to subtract 2 points.

The schnitzel is thin and tender, and the portions are plentiful. The breading really delicious. The schnitzels are not from the pan, but deep-fried. It's a shame that the sauces are probably ready and that the cheese isn't the best choice either. The chili sauce in particular was a flop. There could still be plenty of points here. A good homemade sauce and a better choice of cheese to be gratinated and for the cheese spaetzle would crown the schnitzel. The customer will certainly be happy to pay more for this.

Very good schnitzel - the breading is terrific! Are absolutely satisfied. The Herbsthäuser beer is also highly recommended.

Food was rather average. There were four of us, the food came one after the other, not so great. Actually, you want to start eating together. So once is enough.

Huge portions, none of us made our portion. Great (sometimes unusual) selection and mega delicious. Friendly staff and prices good too. Am thrilled.
